My mom decided months ago that she just really didn’t want to cook Thanksgiving dinner. She said that 40 years of cooking Thanksgiving was just too much. So, she invited us all to the beach for Thanksgiving week.
Having not had consecutive days off in two years, I reserved that week on our work calendar back in February. It was so nice. While too cold to get in the ocean, we enjoyed sitting in the sun and walking along the beach for hours during the day. It was a very relaxing few days spent with my family. I love them all so very much.
I also played around a little with the GoPro. I’ve got to use this little guy more often! It’s so fun! Poor thing gets hit by a wave in this little video:
