I generally have a soundtrack in my head at all times. Horrible meeting? Head Like A Hole. Kayaking in Alabama? Dixieland Delight or the Deliverance banjo duel. Late night café, drinking coffee, looking at a somewhat eerie streetscape? LCD Soundsystem’s oh baby (oddly specific, no?). Every time I hear Pet Sounds I think of riding around East Arkansas with Aunt Billie. Is it just me? What are the songs in your head?
I’ve also always been interested and have enjoyed a wide variety of music. Generally I find something good in everything I hear – prove me wrong! 2018 had some good and chill moments, some nostalgia, some favorites, and some anger. Hope yours was good too.
